Valarie Kerby is one of a kind! She has served as our realtor for several years, thru selling an investment home in the historic district, to finding a home for my father-in-law in order to get him closer to us due to health issues. Most recently, my husband took an amazing job opportunity which required that we relocate to the Grapevine/Colleyville area. It was a very interesting experience to say the least! But Valarie took it all in stride and never let the chaos even phase her. She sold our amazing historic home in McKinney in less than a week, and helped us find our dream home in Colleyville as well. It took three different contracts on homes before we found the right one for us. She was patient, kind, and extremely professional. She stood up for us in the midst of some extremely unprofessional acts by other realtors and home owners. In the end, we purchased our dream home and are trying to settle in.
Valarie has always been our friend, but she endeared herself to us in many ways during this process. A few examples include: Entertaining our energetic 4 year old son many times during our long, exhausting house hunt; She left me a birthday cake surprise on my kitchen counter; The last day of our move out of McKinney, after calling to check on our status and finding out we were not going to make the move-out deadline, she and her husband came over and insisted on loading up their OWN personal vehicle with our belongings, drove one of our vehicles all the way to Colleyville and even helped unload the truck! Not many other realtors on the face of this planet would EVER even think of going to that extent to service their clients.
Valarie always answered her phone, no matter what time of day. She always made us feel like we were her #1 priority, knowing well she had several other clients too. She is the epitome of a personal, customer service professional who love people and loves her job. I would never think of considering using anyone else as our realtor now or in the future.
